“I can’t say with any certainty that these interviews are scripted, but they are blatantly disingenuous.
The editors of this podcast unfortunately seem to be under the misguided belief that “more edits = good”. (News flash: it’s just distracting) However, one can’t really place blame on the editors... because excessive, heavy-handed editing is a hallmark of poor production.
The music that often accompanies the story teller is unnecessary, annoying and distracting. It adds no value whatsoever, and isn’t that good to begin with.
I’m not against “curse words” per se but only if they flow naturally. Shoehorning them in just for the sake of having them in there is a bad choice.
Unexplainable is billed as a science podcast, but the science seems to be dumbed-down and watered-down and presented in a way that wouldn’t seem out of place in a kindergarten classroom.
This podcast clearly isn’t meant for sophisticated adults, maybe pre-teen or elementary aged children.
Edit: The “Twilight Zone” episode was idiotic.
I can’t waste my time anymore, I’ve unsubscribed.”
