I used to love this podcast, but it getting to be SO far left. As someone who doesn’t identify as a lib or rep, I want an honest, unbiased news source and I thought this podcast was that. No, this podcast is part of the problem of why the country is divided. They continuously take things out of...Read full review »

It’s like The NY Times. Highest quality, but not a conservative or moderate voice in the group. Expect a left-slant on every matter and a half hearted attempt to reflect the right’s justifiable positions.

Their podcast on 10/29/20 is hilarious. Apologists for muslim extremists. What a garbage use of tax dollars

My first podcast of the day, I step into shower & turn on the podcast which gives me a genuine non-biased overnight news podcast. Enjoy it Mon-Saturday

Used to enjoy the bite sized news in the morning. However in recent months this podcast has shown its true colors. NPR deciding not to even mention the Hunter Biden corruption shows that they are just mouthpieces for the left wing. I understand having some bias but at this point they are just...Read full review »

I’ve been listening to Up First for years! They usually do three news stories per episode (two domestic and one international), and the format and brevity of each episode is perfect for a time when the news is super stressful but you still want to keep up with the major stories.

Really enjoy this podcast daily and miss it on Sundays.

It is the perfect podcast to stay informed on a daily basis. I enjoy that it covers both U.S. news and reports on important global news, as well as presents multiple perspectives on issues through tactful questioning. It is the ideal length, only 12-15 minutes everyday and presented in an easy to...Read full review »

“We don’t want to waste our time on stories that are not really stories, and we don’t want to waste the listeners’ and readers’ time on stories that are just pure distractions,” says NPR. Excuse me? I’ve listened to NPR for years, but their refusal to cover the Hunter Biden story and their...Read full review »

Ben Shapiro is more transparent than these hosts. It seems like the weekday people sometimes try to be, but the reporters couldn’t be more obviously bias towards democrat talking points. The weekend hosts don’t even try; 15 solid minutes of chanting “Biden Harris” would be more newsworthy. I...Read full review »

Please add people of color to your list of hosts! It was startling to see only white faces. Disappointing; NPR you can and should do much better. (And btw I'm white.)Read full review »

I wake up gently with Up First and a cup of coffee Monday thru Saturday. It’s part of my routine during a time when nothing seems routine. Thank you, NPR!

They identify the most important stories of the day, and deliver them in a crisp, professional package. An essential part of my morning. I listen to this short podcast every morning to get caught up on the headlines. The show is well informed from a variety of sources, and I trust it’s content.

You cannot be unbiased when the country is on the brink. The time for compromise is over. People who are asking for unbiased news, you just want right leaning news. It’s not hard for you to find it.
Blorpal via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 10/27/20
The best way to get informed while you start the day. I’m not sure why there are reviews stating it’s now biased? Haven’t heard any blatant biases yet, and that’s what I love about this podcast.

As I state in the title it is way too much advertisement to listen to for a few minutes of news

I don’t have loads of time to read the news or listen to long radio programs. This gives me a brief overview so I can still be connected and up to date while also getting life stuff done!

The morning after a Supreme Court judge is confirmed and hardly a mention of that?! Whatever one thinks of Justice Amy Coney Barrett, a confirmation of any Supreme Court justice should be considered news of the day. I’m on the hunt for a more unbiased reporting of the day’s news.

Perfect for that time, tidy my parts and get up to speed on what’s going on in the world.
