“I have been listening to Up First almost everyday for years.
I have been so grateful to get the daily roundup of news in a short and succinct dose. However, they are losing track of their origins: NPR, whose mission is “...to create a more informed public — one challenged and invigorated by a deeper understanding and appreciation of events, ideas, and culture”
I could bear their left leaning biased reporting and sarcasm in small amounts, but it has recently overwhelmed the podcast, especially when it comes to anything Trump. In my opinion, Steve Inskeep’s cynicism taints his reporting, and this morning, after a minutes long dual rant between Inskeep and a corespondent about Trump being so dumb for taking Chloroquine, I’ve reached my limit. (Btw, I agree it’s dumb but I listen to learn things that I don’t already know!)
