First time listening to the show and it was good, however, you become a vegan to be healthy n by the podcast I didn't get that message. processed foods still have a big part in their diet. Yes the vegan lifestyle is not perfect but healthy lifestyle is. I'm not a vegan but I eat mostly fruits, vegetables, grains and chicken or turkey once a week. I'm healthy n my weight has stayed down. I have lots of vegan friends who don't eat meat but eats so unhealthy n are overweight it's outrageous. So eat a plant base diet, cook at yr home n don't buy processed food. not eat meat doesn't mean u are going to be healthier if u still eating the wrong foods. I agree with not eating meat because of the mean way the food industry has treated these animals but if u can eat kosher n respect the law of nature then eat meat but not daily. Once a week or month won't kill u or make u less healthy.Read full review »

I love this podcast. Vickie and Larissa are two of the most lovely, zen women you will ever listen to. They inspire me to try more vegan options but not to beat myself up over not being a hard-core vegan. They advocate compassion towards animals, yourself and others. Keep up the great job.
