I love the podcast. But please Johanna stop with the Mmm hum affirmations. It’s a bit distracting.

I enjoy the passion and sincerity of all the podcasts here. The information is invaluable. I enjoy them immensely. However the amount of times the word “ like” is used is beyond my understanding. For every time the word “ like” is used and if I was given a dollar each time…. It would be like…...Read full review »

Finally a podcast with the right balance of educational content, personal anecdotes, and personalities of the beverage world. This one gets it right. The hosts are knowledgeable without pretension and tackle trends from unique angles (e.g., in flight drinks in the age of the canned cocktail)....Read full review »

It is so fun to listen to the excitement in Keith’s voice as he educates you on so many great topics and people!! I have learned so much as I do my driving throughout the week. I really enjoy how he breaks down each topic to give you a thorough understanding. So often the questions I have...Read full review »

Adam, Zach and all of their guests provide a genuinely interesting and enjoyable podcasts. It touches on trends in the USA drinks industry without being insular and self centred. I find points of interest for a tragic but not industry insider. Thanks

I generally like the insight VinePair gives into the drinks industry. But it feels awfully awkward that I rarely hear black voices represented into their various podcasts or instagram posts. More so this first Black History month after the historic BLM movement of 2020. But please do tell us how...Read full review »

Great analysis, great banter. Makes you thirsty.

The show used to be good. Adam just ruins it with his immature rants and complaining.
Pwbnyc via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 09/11/20
As a gen xer wine person, I find this podcast very difficult to listen to. Lots of whining, “likes,” up speak. It’s really quite annoying and detracts from the material.
gen.xer via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 09/03/20
Nuff said.

Excellent podcast with varied guests and topics. Adam’s response to every other question is “that’s interesting” which feels repetitive.

While this may primarily be targeted at industry professionals, this is actually one of the more engaging drinka-themed podcasts out there. The chemistry of the presenters makes the discussion really enjoyable, and the topics are approachable for an ‘enthusiastic outsider’ as well. My only request...Read full review »

In season 2 episode 10, the description of making vermouth at home gets cut off - any chance of a corrected upload?
Nelsie-Boy via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 03/31/20
Good info knowledge but of the few talks I heard, seemed very much like a constant ranting and complaints about the wider wine world without much evidence or support to back up issues.
Shubbydooo via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 03/04/20
...but the occasional foul-language rant (usually on the NY end) detracts from the show’s value. I’d rather give my full attention to the content. Bottom line, though, is that the sincerity and passion of both moderators comes through...and that’s a good thing.
Momster2145 via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 02/24/20
Meh
This show used to be more informative and less about industry complaints. I feel Zach tries to steer the podcast in an informative direction, and Adam snatches it to go on a grievance tangent. I’m from NYC and I find Adam’s comments jarring at times. Zach seems to be less nose in the air, and I...Read full review »

First, I love the show and it’s inspired me to do my own wine thing. Thank you all! Also, as mentioned on today’s show (01/06/20), please take action and write your senator about the tariffs. It’s easy and it’s a way to do our part to support the industry!

Having tended bar over the last 39 years, the congenial manner notwithstanding divergences between West/East coast sensibilities explored here are both informative, as well, arresting.

Episodes in 2018 were very informative. 2019 is full of complaining.

I have been listening for about a year now and have gone back to listen to every episode! There isn’t another podcast I could say I’m devoted to more. The topics are interesting and varied and I appreciate Adam and Zach’s approach to wine and sprits. It’s a small thing but Please put some thought into the audio quality or variance.

I like the topics that the show covers, both about the product and the industry. But I really do not like the cohost out of New York. He seems to want to come across as the antithesis of the stereotypical wine snob, but he is still extremely opinionated about everything, and doesn’t hold back on...Read full review »

But now there is so much complaining about the industry and even customers. It’s really turned into a tiresome whiney show. This is a shame because early episodes were educational and interesting.
KPBigglesworth via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 08/26/19
If your going to publicly speak, lose the “like” and “you know” in most of your sentences. The “teen” speak is unprofessional.

I enjoyed this podcast when initially discovered it. Lately, it’s been highly annoying to listen to. Full of complaints about the industry that are completely unrelateable to the average consumer. One of the best things about the VinePair podcast is that the hosts do a great job balancing their obvious deep knowledge with an understanding that their listeners need to have certain topics explained and unpacked instead of just taken for granted, but that they do it without condescending or...Read full review »

Not sure why there has not been a review made on this yet, because I am loving it. Great, honest conversations about the beverage industry. I was hooked from the first listen. I’m sure anyone would be entertained, but this is perfect for those of us working in the trade. I do invite you do explore the Texas Hill Country wineries—there are a lot of them—and the High Plains AVA (which grows most of the grapes used in Texas wines). Texas has the fourth most wineries in the US, 602. Virginia, which you mentioned in your last podcast has 366. Oregon, #3, has 713....Read full review »
