Painstakingly reported and with empathy
This took years for the reporter to work on - what an example of diving deep. In the end, I feel that the reporter’s conclusion was more complex than I ever would have thought up on my own. The promotion of entitlement to mercy (from the victims’s family, from the parole board) on a killer makes this a very irritating storyline.

Sad and interesting story, very well told by the host. This podcast brings to light the many troubling issues with our current parole system. Looking forward to hearing future episodes as they come out.
