Some are great, some are horrible
The audio podcasts in this series are generally disappointing; they have 60 second breaks with a forgettable jingle that seems to herald a missing commercial. The interviewer asks general questions of designers that fail to draw them out or give insights into their design process. Links to the project websites or visual examples are also sorely needed, since the projects are all great ones. In sharp contrast, the video segments with Sean Adams and Noreen Morioka are fantastic. They are 3 to 4 minute design classes offering real information in a humorous presentation, aided by their interpersonal chemistry. I almost deleted the entire series from my I-pod after only listening to the audiocasts, but was glad I took the time to watch the video clips first. Oh, and SURPRISE... as if you couldn't have guessed, everyone has to mention how Adobe software helped them do their projects! Adobe should take the time to learn how to interview subjects or hire some news people with these skills, and AdamsMorioka should offer these podcasts on a continuing regular basis!Read full review »

Theres just not...Read full review »
