I came here from Vanderpump Rules and stayed for this absolute gem of a podcast! Hosted by two incredibly witty women who bring their insider knowledge from their time behind the scenes as assistants in Hollywood to the microphone. They often bring on guests familiar with the assistant life and...Read full review »

I’m giving this podcast a go, but I feel like sometimes they don’t give enough context for ppl to follow. I know what they’re referring but I can see why others don’t always know what’s going on. I give 3 stars for now bc I’ve started multiple episodes but had no desire to keep listening. I have...Read full review »

Amanda was my favorite person on the Viall Files. She is just so well spoken and brings such a grounded but also quirky/relatable spin on pop culture. I love her dynamic with Anne and love Anne’s personality too! They are great compliments to one another. They are girls that I would love to just...Read full review »

…and immediately came here to subscribe. I always thought Amanda was the best producer/commenter on the Viall Files. She was the only one there who consistently played devil’s advocate and was willing to put herself in other people’s shoes instead of blindly agreeing with whatever her boss’s...Read full review »

We love Ann and Amanda!!! This show isn’t about bashing their employers it’s about raising up assistants in the film industry and all the hard work they do that people don’t even know about. It’s more about the comedy and camaraderie than anything else! Only anyone who hasn’t listened to it...Read full review »

Brilliant timing on the release of this podcast! These two ladies have quick commentary on VPR episodes as they are released, and then go into personal experiences of previous jobs they’ve had. They respect the boundaries of their NDAs, and dish on bizarre situations they’ve been put in...Read full review »

Reality TV has a VeRy diverse population, but someone the hosts manage to throw white privilege under the bus in episode 1. Lots of privilege and entitlement on reality tv. I don’t need more of this ridiculous narrative in the first episode… and I’m not white. Good luck with all your woke...Read full review »

I’m such a pop culture girlie and I love hearing behind the scenes tea and this duo DELIVERS. from little VPR tidbits to nightmare bosses — the guest they’ve had have been top tier and respectful. It makes my week when I know a new episode will drop and hearing them giggle makes my heart sing....Read full review »

I watch VPR and listen to the Viall Files, so I truly wanted to like this, but it’s garbage, unfortunately. I am quickly getting the ICK from these ladies. Regarding this podcast, I’ve listened to 2, maybe 3 episodes, but I fell asleep during the last listen for several reasons. Ann and Amanda...Read full review »

Nuanced and cerebral commentary mixed with a healthy dose of vulnerability and sass. An absolute pleasure to listen to, and provides important context and visibility to a often invisible side of the production equation.

Honestly such a good podcast and great addition to the reality tv (and pop culture broadly) commentary landscape. Absolutely LOVE this podcast! It RADIATES positivity and gives a cool perspective of the lives of those who work for Bravolebrities and celebrities alike. Thanks for adding another “must listen” to my list!!

This is so good. Y’all are way ahead of the curve - reality tv is becoming less niche and more mainstream so I foresee pods pulling the curtain back are going to be more common. Mark my words - y’all are the OGs of this and both of you are onto bigger and brighter things from your last jobs :)

Let’s face it, reality tv can be toxic. And the fan community can be even worse. I just peeked at a comments section for a Galentine’s Day insta post from Vanderpump and the internalized misogyny is RAMPANT. These two hosts tackle reality tv like champs, bringing a surprising amount of empathy...Read full review »

Yeah I am. Got a problem with it? Why?! They let presidential candidates vote for themselves and this is basically the exact same thing. Plus if someone is reading reviews, it’s probably Ann or Maddy, in which case: heyyyy! Love youuuuu!

Not so much now. Yikes! Doing too much. And to that other poster that said it should be “a NDA” as opposed to “an NDA” - you’re wrong. A vs An is determined phonetically. So “NDA” sound like “en dee a” . Since NDA is a vowel sound, you use “an”
