Perfect timing
I just listened to episode 56 The Process vs The Product and it was the perfect time for me to hear this information! I restarted my weight loss journey again the day after Christmas 2020 and by the end of January had lost 8 pounds. So exciting!! Nothing was going to stop me. Then in February, even though it is a short month, NOTHING!! “What could I possibly be doing wrong? Maybe this isn’t going to work this time. What is wrong with me?” I started to panic and jump right back to my old thoughts again. I even went to see my doctor two times within two weeks time to check my hormone levels and find out, “What’s wrong with me?” “Find the problem and fix it.” I didn’t want a diagnosis of any kind but I wanted her to tell me that it wasn’t my fault. Do you know what she said? “Just keep doing what you are doing. It will work.” I forget sometimes that this isn’t a sprint but a marathon if I truly want the weight to be gone for good. Thank you, Natalie, for the reminder that this is a journey and a process at the same time and to stop and be proud of what IS happening right now. I’m becoming a more patient person as I learn more about myself. Lisa :)

Sooo there are only 3 episodes as I’m writing this but these 3 episodes have been SO helpful for me to identify how I think & feel about my body and to consider that my negative thoughts about it aren’t objective facts. The way Natalie describes struggles with food and body image is like...Read full review »
