HRT.
Once again a fascinating podcast. My Mums twin sister had breast cancer when my Mum started her HRT, it was around the time when it was reported that HRT could be connected to breast cancer ,she begged my Mum to come of HRT which my Mum did. Unfortunately she suffered terribly with the menopause and consequently so did we, as the hell she lived with affected us all as a family. I am myself experiencing increasing premenopausal symptoms and have made an appointment to speak to my gynecologist and get some help. Over the last couple of years , I have been suffering with hot flushes ( or my preferred term of „Power surges „!😘) Tinnitus, mood swings, feeling down & unhappy for no apparent reason ,lack of energy, motivation and a foggy brain to name just a few , it’s only thru listening to experts like yourselves that I have started to speak openly about my symptoms and feelings and guess what ? I’m not going crazy and I’m definitely not alone . I just want to say a huge thank you to you Liz and all the other intelligent women out there taking the fear out of HRT and the elephant out of the room . Ps. Your fabulous book about the menopause ,“The good Menopause guide“ was my first stepping stone to understanding in easy terms what was happening to me .

The subjects and guests are always worth a listen & Liz has a lovely soft, easy on the ear voice. I am from the UK but was in the gym yesterday whilst on holiday in Florida & got chatting to a lady on the machine next to mine, we had both had the same new headphones recently and were...Read full review »
