Description
This week we have guest Hananatu Tunis on our show! Hananatu (Hana) is a descendant of Liberia with ties rooted in Sierra Leone. She's a St. John's University graduate, founder of One Million Girls, and creator of The P.A.D.S. Project. Her passion and life mission is to empower women and girls through social entrepreneurship and philanthropic projects while energizing them to make positive contributions to their communities and to the world at large.  Recently, Hananatu returned to Liberia in October 2019 to extend the mission of P.A.D.S. by teaching girls how to sew their own reusable pads. She is an advocate for sustainable development, gender equality, and growth for women and girls living in marginalized communities around the world.  In this episode, we talk about period poverty, period stigma, finding your purpose, and how to not wait to live your life until you are in a long-term relationship or married.
