Wine for Normal People is Great!
This is a really great podcast series. Elizabeth Schneider and one or another offsider discuss a range of wine related issues with intelligence, humor and a lot of fun. Elizabeth's knowledge is excellent, she really does her homework and communicates brilliantly. She covers everything from terroir to wine ettiquette using a world of wine perspective that inspires as well as it educates. You can find some specific tasting notes and detailed essays on the associated blog but these podcasts are really an opportunity to discuss more general issues. Editing and presentation are faultless. There are great discussions on common grape varieties, on wine regions and on selecting good value wines. You won't find a bunch of scores out of 100, but you will be able to select a wine from the local store that you know you are going to love. Well done Elizabeth and keep up the great work!
