“I came across the Weston A. Price Foundation a few months after my daughter was born. I was told I was one of the few women who was incapable of breastfeeding, even after months of trying to make it work and spending a tremendous amount of money on various lactation consultants, diet changes and herbal concoctions. I was determined to not give my daughter store-bought formula and scoured the internet for other ideas. The WAPF recipe for homemade baby formula was life-changing. It felt so good being in control of what she was eating and knowing the exact benefits of each ingredient. On a personal note, I was no longer consumed by guilt and my postpartum depression slowly started to alleviate. Today my daughter is a year and a half and is absolutely thriving-people are constantly marveling at how happy she is all the time.
