“So, as I have been keeping up with this podcast on WTNV, I decided that I should formally subscribe to the channel since it will be leaving WTNV after the third episode. Now just for kicks I decided to look at the reviews to see what people in the community are thinking about this podcast and I must say, though an overwhelming number of people totally are digging this podcast, a couple of somebodies seem to be missing the whole point of it! Right off the bat I knew that there was something different about this series, especially compared to WTNV and AIND. Between the Wires makes you work for your weird. We all expected this new podcast to be a little out there and off putting (mainly for the fact that it's coming from WTNV and AIND) but I feel we were surprised by the calming, almost lulling storytelling that's happened. So surprised that some of us are missing the VERY subtle messages throughout this podcast. A lot of people are getting so caught up in the breathing exercises, that they forget that this is a story being told! Similarly people are being turned off that the weird factor isn't jumping out at them like it does in sister podcasts. But again the point is to READ BETWEEN THE WIRES! Hate to have spoiled that, but it was needed! For any new person thinking that this is a big stretch away from what our favorite content creators do (which is live and embrace the weird) don't be too alarmed, you just need to do what my therapist always says and ACTIVELY LISTEN! Don't let anything roll past you, because in this podcast EVERYTHING HAS MEANING and it probably won't repeat itself until it comes to a head!
