Love of language
This was the perfect podcast. An engaging exploration of English words with enough academic rigor to satisfy pedants while remaining utterly non-proscriptive or judgmental. As the hosts often disclaim, lexicography is about usage not correctness. I love the thoughtful escape they provided for 20 minutes per episode - a length that in retrospect makes it ideal for binging. I only wish it never ended.
