This show is a great break in the age we live in about everyone being an expert on world events. These people create an entertaining break. Many people consider themselves well versed in English, and yet the way these people approach these topics with humour is easy to listen to.

Love of language
This was the perfect podcast. An engaging exploration of English words with enough academic rigor to satisfy pedants while remaining utterly non-proscriptive or judgmental. The Bestest!
Funny, intelligent, insightful. I loved this show and am crushed that it is no longer being produced🙁 I would resisten to shows 2 or 3 times just to fully grasp when these brainiacs have to say. I guess I’ll just start at episode one all over again😘
