One of my favorite things in life is listening to this podcast. So crammed with info that it takes a second listen to upload it all to the brain. Many things are versions of advice I give to others but it’s much better and I’m learning and loving it all. I frankly want Mary to be my best mate but...Read full review »

Mary articulates patterns of behaviour that perhaps have slipped through generations of women unquestioned, but have often been felt like a nagging pain at the back of the head. I love this podcast and feel it will help me very much in the future, I only wish it had been around when I was younger...Read full review »

Every episode makes me feel powerful, smart, accomplished, and truly seeing how I can advocate for myself without burning workplace capital. I feel heard and seen. Thank you Mary!

Already a fan, admittedly but I can’t get enough of Mary. She’s brilliant! Living her true, authentic life and sharing her passions with us all in the most eloquent and articulate way. Bring on series 2 🤞🏻

This is stuff we all know, or mostly know - but is buried far down the list as we are all too busy being alpha. Not any more! This podcast has helped me keep a focus on what’s important, and I’m working through it for myself and with my team. Thanks Mary - long may this podcast be my Monday treat.

I like this podcast but I think they are ill-equipped with the knowledge to correctly discuss some of the topics introduced. Particularly when related to LGBT issues.

Brilliant listening which I look forward to weekly. So much sense is spoken about being a woman who works whilst raising a family and not only being an inspiration to herself but her kids to.. and if I’m feeling blue listening to Mary’s funny stories and words of wisdom gets me flying high again..!

I’ve just finished listening to your Campaigning episode and it was so inspirational in many ways (I look forward to reading your book and Caroline’s book- once I have purchased them!) It also made me laugh and relate wholly to your references of being a woman, a parent and striving to include a...Read full review »

This has already become one of my top three favourite podcasts as Mary is her usual fun yet no-nonsense self when talking about her experiences or interviewing guests. I’d definitely recommend downloading all episodes no matter when you find this as they’ve all been interesting in their own way.

Love the podcast. Refreshing conversation and about time. As someone who fought the alpha culture for so long it is good to find my tribe! And good to empower future generations! Please include show notes of wonderful books you have quoted in discussion

Mary brings together ideas, kindred spirits and truths about the myths sold to women about work. Well, actually about life. Like the best ever conversations over coffee/wine/cocktails where great women take on the world.

If you’re looking for schmaltz you won’t find it here...thank goodness! Mary Portas “kills it” as usual, this time it’s all about flexible working for everyone and being yourself at work. It’s The Business! I can’t wait to hear more.

Mary and her guests are addressing - and seeking solutions to - the topics that pretty much all the women I know have been agonising over for ages. Top notch content and a good few laughs along the way.
