Poor interview technique
There is so much potential with these guests but the one interview I listened to with Laura Jackson made it clear just how difficult it is to be a great interviewer and to conduct a great interview. Unfortunately when Grace interjects her points are unclear, waffley and full of filler. At points I skipped sections because it felt as though she was going over the same point in order to get the interviewee to agree with her point of view. I didn’t feel the interview had a clear narrative or chronology. I was interested to hear from Laura as she hasn’t been on podcasts recently and has a great perspective as a founder and parent. I didn’t feel the interview got any sort of depth of answer or detail from Laura. I saw some other reviews say that Grace needs to work on her interview style and I would agree with that. Grace is evidently a talented business founder herself so should draw on her experience of this more when speaking to guests.

And episode 38 was just constant with the word ‘like’ which just ruined it for me. The podcast has so much potential but needs to have a...Read full review »
