“Thank you, Jared and John. This podcast is a godsend for me, arriving in my first year of studying Chinese. I learn best with a heavy dose of theory, something that's been lacking from my language classes. I've been longing for a resource that'll help me build a framework for my growing vocabulary, and lo, here it is. To be clear: this podcast isn't going to teach you Chinese, but it IS going to teach you how to learn Chinese (or at least that's the idea, four episodes in). There's a thousand apps and books for cramming characters and phrases, but a distinct lack of ways to bring it all together.
