I'd give it ten, but hey, gotta keep you cats humble. Seriously Peter & Adam you do a wonderful job of continually coming up with compelling topics. I imagine I represent a good number of You'll Hear It subscribers, I'm a middle aged guy who played professionally in my early 20s, then life got in the way and it's only been in the last few years that I've gotten back at it, studying with a teacher, taking advantage of great opportunities like Open Studio (I'm a drummer and I've purchased the Hutch, Ulysses Owens Jr. and Rythm Section courses) and gigging again. I often listen to the podcast while I'm running, so I was stoked to see today's subject! Thanks, keep on keeping on!Read full review »

These guys give 210%! Very insightful advice for players of all levels. Great humor throughout. My favorite episodes are where they get into the weeds of playing/theory. Loved the episodes on pentatonics, voicings, and how to play fast.

An awesome Jazz Music education resource with subject matter experts! I met Peter in New Orleans after seeing him play at Snug Harbor. A true piano professional and innovative contemporary educator. Entertaining, enjoyable and very informative no matter what level musician you are. 7 stars!!
