A surprisingly good podcast
I don't normally write reviews of podcasts, but I wanted to support "You're Wrong About..." because of how exceptional it is. This podcast is simple: an hour-long conversation between two hosts, who discuss aspects of American history and culture that we've gotten wrong, including the obesity crisis, the Lewinsky scandal, "stranger danger," DARE, and so on. I look forward to this podcast every week, and am never disappointed. What's surprising is that, in an era of over-produced and over-hyped podcasts, "You're Wrong About..." is simple without being simplistic. You aren't beaten over the head with flashy sound effects. The hosts focus entirely on the subject at hand, as well as various tangents that come with it. It's like eavesdropping on a very fascinating conversation between two very intelligent and very funny people sitting near you in a cafe.Read full review »
