“The quality of the research feels varied and the authority of the speakers as well. Take the last two speakers. One on the body clock of muscles and strength asserted that as there are greater strength performance stats later in the day, that’s when you should exercise. Er? Why is it better to exercise when your muscles are at their strongest? That question wasn’t asked nor answered.
The next episode, both speakers said they exercise fasted in the morning. Hmm. But then one speaker admitted to only eating within a 5 hour window every day. That’s not health advice, that’s an eating disorder.
Look there are some episodes which are genuinely interesting but ironically considering this is a big old advert for personalised nutrition there is wry little emphasis on assessing what works for you through how it feels (presumably because they want you to buy their eye watering expensive CGM system and gut testing etc).
As a result I am getting less and less interested in listening.”
