This week we head down to the town of Kodiak Alaska to the Baptist Mission Goat Farm and talk to Kelly about what it takes to raise goats in Alaska. She runs the only Grade A Goat Dairy in the state and also runs outdoor daycare where the kids get to work on the farm daily. This week we took a trip down to Anchorage to have a cup of coffee and learn about roasting coffee with AK Coffee Company. This was such a cool experience for me. I will be the first to admit I'm not the biggest coffee drinker and when I do drink coffee it has more creamer than coffee. But Emily made us a cup of black coffee and had us take a drink of it and it blew my mind. It was so smooth and complex in flavor. I can talk for hours about that one cup of coffee. Me and my son traveld to Healy Alaska to be a guest at the Denali Lake View Inn. This is a hidden gem!! we had an amazing view of Otto lake and the mountains right from the balcony of our room. The rooms where amazing nice and clean. There was alot to do without even having to leave the inn such as kayaking and fishing.
