Hit and Miss
60-Second Science is three-quarters fantastic, bite-sized scientific factoids and one-quarter thinly-veiled, hackneyed political commentary. When I listen to the podcast first thing every morning, one of two things occurs: my day is made with an interesting tidbit on natural science or I have to endure a political rant on par with a call-in radio show or a college freshman's blog. When they do what they are claim to do, this is one of the best podcasts on iTunes. When they stray into political issues (Left or Right), this podcast undermines all the goodwill it otherwise enjoys.Read full review »

I’ve really enjoyed this podcast when it sticks to science. However, like I.D. and Richard Dawkins it occasionally gets into the pseudo science of applying science to religion. I find this quite interesting and informative. It may be only 60 seconds (The episodes themselves are actually more than a minute) but it makes it even more fun like a fact of the day.
