I used to work custodial for a school district, very early hours, like the sun’s not out yet for a while early. I was picky with my podcasts/listening materials, as this market of podcasting is incredibly over saturated, and when you gamble with listening to something new and unheard of by...Read full review »

Two smoking barrels of Gothic Americana! A perfect podcast for lovers of Lovecraft and Gaiman. I cannot recommend this highly enough! Confused and frustrated! How does the podcast keep getting ever better?! Is there no limit to how good it can get? I hope not!!! For anyone who may be a John...Read full review »

I expected this podcast to be like most the other horror podcasts. All telling the same story over and over. I was wrong. This is an actual horror story podcast. Amazing writing, amazing narrative. Two thumbs way up, 5 out of 5 stares, 100 %, gold star etc.....

I was in a podcast drought and someone recommend this podcast on the no sleep fan page. A couple episodes in back July and I spent almost all my podcast time catching up for the next month and am behind in all my other shows. One of the best shared universe shows ever.

This podcast is a fascinating exploration of all things spooky. These are deep dives into weird mythologies and I am all about it. Also, this podcast is incredibly addictive. Don’t think you’ll get away by just listening to one episode. You might as well click subscribe because there is no escape.

As you listen, you are taken to a place where seemingly random stories keep connecting, and names and characters become familiar. You end up rooting for some on either side of the story and want to share it with some of your closest (and darkest) friends so you can analyze together. Thank you...Read full review »

Nate’s soothing narration, much like an audible embrace, lulls you into inevitable tension and terror. The Juxtaposition is uniquely beautiful and baffling. ASHC is an experience more than a podcast, best consumed with whiskey.

“A Scary Home Companion” is one of the very best Horror Podcasts - and I know that’s a very bold statement to just throw out there in an off-handed way... so let me try and explain my position as quickly as possible: There are thousands of Horror Podcasts, many of which are good, to great - but...Read full review »

I'm not much into horror but the way that Nathaniel Hensley crafts a story is hands down the best. The overarching story line of the Gastly Ones throughout all the seasons that has progressed into what it is now, adds a level of "Aha moments" that isn't surpassed. When you...Read full review »

Listened to the Massacre at Blacksite parts 1 & 2. I really enjoyed everything about it. I’m looking forward to future episodes.

I’ve done my due diligence with this podcast and have listened to every available episode. What follows is about as honest a review as can be written, so I will try to avoid hyperbole and just give you the straight dope. The first handful of episodes are a little shaky. I expect the producers...Read full review »

There is a fine line between fact and fiction, and it’s awfully blurry in these podcasts. Well crafted stories are the staple in every episode. Take some time and give it a listen, you’ll be happy and horrified that you did.
