“Podcast of the year (so far). I just binged it on Wondery, and my god... it's a juggernaut of peformances, high stakes tension, and the sound is simply incredible. Thought I'd see a lot more reviews on here (but I guess it's still behind a paywall?)
In any case, this is one of the tightest fiction podcasts I've ever heard. Whoever was behind it just absolutely crushes it from beginning to end. Jon Hamm is at the top of his game, and the guy who plays opposite him (Joseph Perrino) is both terrifying and vulnerable. The fact that this is also based on a true story is just mind-boggling to me... Looks like I'm one of the first to the party, but I surely won't be the last. “Great content; terrible voice over acting, worse ads, greedy model. Make you listen to ads, then block content behind a paywall. His isn’t cable TV. Get with the program like every other podcast on here. And pay some better voice over actors”
