This podcast always makes me feel better and I find all of the discussions really empowering and comforting. I read the book “Body Kindness” and loved it and highly recommend to anyone struggling with issues around self esteem, self criticism, and body image.

What a lot of rubbish! How self-congratulatory these two are...this podcast is for anyone who wants to listen to two people talk about how great they are. No substance (although a lot of talk about 'stay with us til the end!'). I will never trust The New York Times reviews againRead full review »

I am listening to the Diabetes Care episodes with Glenys Oysten (love her!!) right now, and it is so nice to have clear and professional guidance that is not focused on weight loss and fear-mongering. 6min in to inane chatter and the host is talking about how she belongs to a “white parents affinity group”. I’d never heard of such thing. It sounds racist. When you have privilege, you don’t exclude others from the conversation. No thank-you. Try getting some human kindness into your mind.

An engaging conversation with Dr. Sabrina Strings about her book, Fearing the Black Body. Found her back story compelling as it helped ground her future scholarship on black women’s place or lack thereof in health and wellness. Glad to discover the Body Kindness podcast by happy accident!
