This is one of several rugby podcasts I download but it can vary in quality. Firstly, as much as I admired Brian as a player, he can lack joy as a pundit and has a habit of interrupting his guests - a habit continued this week by his co-guest Nick Easter. I also find some of his views irritating, including his unnecessarily patronising of Brexit voters as being unintelligent and blinded by patriotism. Quite what this has got to do with rugby I don't know. When he sticks with great guests and features such as Nigel Owens insights into the laws, it's a great show, but at times I do end up skipping sections.Read full review »

They are rather lengthy - so probably not for the casual fan of the game - but they are full of insight, detail and irreverence. Well worth the time.

Used to be great but the addition of Rob Andrew has really destroyed this podcast. He is boring and dull and talks with the bland arrogance for which England used to be famed.
