I think more men could benefit from hearing this very insightful podcast. Well thought out, presented and thoroughly researched. Again very highly recommended for all.

Topics are wide ranging and well researched. Host is open to both polytheistic and materialist lenses on topics. Audio is fine for the type of podcast it is and the ads are like many other programs.

I found this podcast during a search about Baba Yaga. I’m a so very grateful for Bridig sharing her knowledge of folklore, mythology and the “dark feminine”. I have become obsessed. After listening to the Baba Yaga episode I have started from the very beginning to binge listen to all the...Read full review »

I stumbled over Chthonia looking for material on the Morrigan and was absolutely delighted on the depth and breadth of the women / goddess / heroines covered. (Ragnell!! Black Annis! Nyx!!) This is one of the best, most well-researched podcasts on the subject of women and myths, and the fact that...Read full review »

I love the info, the audio is spotty. Some episodes come through loudly, some have the guests in one ear and you in the other. All of the banging of the mic is distracting as well. I’m in the first episodes though, so I’m hoping those issues clear up over the course of the podcast. Otherwise, the...Read full review »

This podcast wasn’t perfect but had so much going for it - an awesome, broad review of dark goddesses including many of which you rarely see covered - until it was moved to a new host that inserts jarring ads at the beginning and middle of it. Not the nice ads read in the host’s voice but loud,...Read full review »

Amazing information. I’m a Kali devotee and was so happy to see a whole episode dedicated to her and the mahavidyas! If you want you know more about the dark divine feminine look no further!

I am a follower of Advita Vedanta and this podcast has introduced me to the tantric path and also how some of the mother goddesses tie in with this system. It’s very very good . And I don’t here many podcasts that are accessible but in depth.

Host clears throat so much, mumbles, takes time to look up info while recording, reads it off quickly and poorly, calls her own tangents “delightful”, etc. I don’t think there’s any editing or post-production. But the content is interesting and the lack of polish could be charming if it weren’t...Read full review »

Host needs to stop making that ntchk sound every few words. I'm starting with episode one and am up to episode 19 now so maybe she'll get better? If not I'm out.Read full review »

I was really excited to listen to the episode on Frau Perchta and Gryla, since I have done quite a bit of reading on Perchta but haven’t found much in the way of interesting analysis and certainly no gender-based comparisons of them with similar winter (but masculine) “punisher” figures. Sadly,...Read full review »

I love this podcast. It's a high level exploration of the Dark Feminine by a learned authority on the subject. I listen every week and Brigid never fails to bring things to light about which I'd not known. A nice choice for the Joseph Campbell, Wiccan, and Pagan crowd, or just the cool...Read full review »
