Grace Dent exudes warmth and curiosity - a winning combination for the informal interview format. This is the woman who can make Tupperware sound interesting, for heaven's sake, so give her a human subject and she's away! What a treat for the first episode to feature the generous and open Russell T. Davies. He touchingly questions himself asking "Am I a monster?" for mining the depths of his grief in his screenwriting. Interviewer and subject share a bit of a moment before finishing up by extolling the joys of eating out of a tin. This leaves you satisfied but wishing you could have indulged for longer.
