There's much to like about The Conversation Hour's format and content, but its the disarmingly calm and lean-forward-listening manner of the host that makes it work so well. Fascinating interview with James Freud in which he's smart, reflective, honest, self-effacing and likable. Emphasises the inherent hollowness of the music industry.
