Thank you for what you do, I appreciate all the effort. Can you please address Ted Naiman’s claim that humans have FIVE HUNGERS, protein, fats, carbs, calcium, and sodium. Even though he acknowledges carbs are not essential he maintains our natural hunger for carbs might be derailing our progress and forcing us to higher fat choices. Aren’t all the other items in the list essential, so why not carbs; the logic doesn’t necessarily follow. That aside, after completing a food addiction course and coming to grips with abstainer/moderator model I am adding back controlled amounts of berries, yoghurt and salad and eating leaner meat with good weight loss results and feel it might be the right fit for me. I was unable to dial down the fat on highish protein carnivore but some “precision carbs” seem to be working for me.”
