“Labor’s” worst ever Prime Minister. Liberal Party traitor who suffers from a need to be in the public spotlight.

Thank you for starting this podcast, I really appreciate the time and effort made in discussing smart, relevant and interesting topics. Would you please consider releasing a longer more candid version of the interviews. I personally wouldn't mind listening to our former PM and his guest for...Read full review »

Excellent choice of topics and intelligent discussion. A must if you worry about where and how some of our current leaders are ensuring we are safe and heading the right way.

Great but the background music is a bit distracting!

Kudos to Malcolm for leveraging his network to deliver substantive conversations on a topic that will impact all our lives. The decline of democracy in Western nations is a twist that no one saw coming, that political historians will be feasting on in 50 years time. This podcast provides a...Read full review »

I am an avid listener of political podcasts - and this episode in particular is one of the best I’ve encountered. It is essential listening.

Captivating, though provoking. We should all be asking these questions.

The one thing I have learnt from this podcast is that Malcolm Turnbull should never have joined the liberal party, and the liberal party should never of allowed him to join. It is very clear that his views or comfortable sitting in Labor. To me, he just appears like another one of those rich...Read full review »

I look forward to more of Malcolm’s interviews with knowledgeable people.

Can’t believe a former prime minister could be so lacking of dignity. This podcast is more about Malcom’s relevance depreviation issues than offering intelligent commentary and or insight. Give this one a big miss - it’s just a lot of gibberish .

I don’t think so! You sold out long ago.

This man set up the Behavioural Economics Team Australia which was based on ‘nudge units’ designed to force people to act. Then this was used to develop Robodebt communications. I became suicidal over Robodebt. I will never be able to listen to someone who thinks it is ok to treat disadvantaged...Read full review »

Very well thought and well presented podcast. The topics were/are worth discussing and the inputs from Malcom realign the discussions and provides more context or depth to the topic.

Very pleased to see that he’s given up on this pitiful project. Probably furious that the ratings dipped below 4.5 Stars and spat the dummy, illustrating the real purpose of this podcast was always so that Malcolm could enjoy the sound of his own voice interrupting his guests to inject himself...Read full review »

I always respected Turnbull’s thoughtfulness. This podcast does not disappoint. He asks tough questions of people from all over the world whilst also providing his own analysis. Highly recommended for not only Australians but people from any democratic country that wants to think critically about...Read full review »

I love the podcast and will continue to listen. If I could speak to Malcolm directly, one of the main questions I’d like him to address is why now do we discuss the defence of democracy when the writing was on the wall in the eighties and nineties with the adoption of neo-liberalism, an ideology...Read full review »

Saw Turnbull on Joy Reid and jumped in. Stuck in US politics this was an excellent dive into democracy struggle worldwide. But it seems more is needed. Israel, Maya mar, India… More episodes please into more democracies (strong and weak) so more democratic loving people can understand the themes...Read full review »

The topics are spot on.The guests are,in no doubt, well rounded, seasoned, unbelievable readers of the current times and history. Malcolm does not need to use the truth serum to make them talk, articulate ideas in order for us,DUMMIES,to understand and further your own education about what surrounds...Read full review »

Dear Mr Turnbull, Loving your podcast. Just expressing my concern you’ve never come across anyone in politics like Mr Donald Trump. Warm regards, Sally

A brilliant discussion of the dangers of democratic societies drifting away from the political centre. Yes, there’s a touch of revenge on the Abbotts and Murdochs of this world, but in the end that’s probably well deserved. I couldn’t put this podcast down. I hope Malcolm has a lot more to come.

A pleasant surprise to see our favourite ex-PM as a podcaster, much needed balanced input into our political discourse which is sorely needed, keep it up!

It is quite scary how many autocrats are in power worldwide; however, I wonder if the real reason why this is happening is because capitalism has gone mad and the systems appear to have no sense of ethics or equality. Not that autocracies solve this issue - in fact, I think they make it worse! ...Read full review »

Malcolm Turnbull raises valid questions putting forward generally a balanced viewpoint. On the other side as a progressive I do not go along conservative with Malcolm’s politics.
