Consistently Excellent
Econtalk, as the title would suggest, is a weekly podcast focusing on economics. For those of you cringing, recalling Econ 101--the charts, the equations, the middle-aged man droning endlessly in a monotone voice--fear not! Economics is a broad discipline, concerned with so much more than dry and dusty interest rates. It's an exciting, dynamic area. Which brings us back to Econtalk and what Dr. Roberts does so well. Econtalk is (usually) presented as a discussion between Dr. Roberts and a guest speaker. The guests have included authors, professors, and CEOs. These guests have many fascinating view points and Dr. Roberts does an excellent job capturing what makes their views so interesting. Plus, he provides many thought-provoking insights himself. I cannot recommend this podcast highly enough. Tell your friends!Read full review »
