I’m a long time listener and just finished this episode with Fascat coach Justin Bowes. What I loved is Justin’s emphasis on the “soft skills” needed to get the most from the hard physical work we do on the bike. It’s not just about watts; it’s really about building a complete athlete with things...Read full review »

Feel Faster! This is a great pod for learning about training and getting faster. Coach Frank- and all the coaches- are the real deal and cut through the noise to give you realistic, actionable coaching advice. You’ll love this pod and may even love more their optimize app, training plans, and...Read full review »

This pod has gone downhill. I used to listen religiously. Since the new host came on (I don’t even know his name), and Frank took a back seat it’s just not the same. The episode topics are also lackluster and don’t capture the imagination as they once did.

I've been listening to Frank and team for about a year now. His training tips and philosophy behind training have been incredibly helpful, FTFP, winning in the kitchen, etc. I finally pulled the plug on my old training software and moved over to FasCats new platform, Optimize. I've just...Read full review »

Interesting guests and a lot of knowledge. The episode with Andy Coggan is excellent. I understand the podcast is a marketing thing but way too much sales talking, I think.

Great show great content but the volume on the show is messed up. One dude is talking like he is calling a golf match so you have to turn it up the others are fine but when you turn it up they are too loud. Increase his volume or have him lay off his “radio voice”.

Self coached cyclist with 10 years structured training finally submitting a review. By far my favorite training podcast, Frank’s straightforward techniques work if you FTFP. Really happy with Ben Delaney’s addition to the team, been a fan for years and he seems like a perfect fit for the podcast!...Read full review »

There are few podcasts as good as trainerroad. This is one of them. I’m thankful I found this training-focused series.

The last three episodes of the podcast with interviews of the three new FasCat Coaches were TOP!! These podcasts give you a nice, entertaining, and a glimpse of the people behind the photo haha My suggestion is to do the same with ALL FasCat Coaches, including the Big Cat. A teammate turned me on to the podcast and I’ve listened to every episode. Tons of great info and if you are looking for a great plan the Fascat team has the best! The MTB interval plan had me stronger than ever last season. With only a few months of Fascat programming I saw huge improvements. I...Read full review »

Frank & Team, Thank you for putting this amazing podcast out there! I’m a big fan of FasCat podcasts because each one offers something I can use in my training or racing right away, and then something to think about for later. I’ve appreciated the little tips along with the broader explanations on a wide range of subjects. I’ve gone back and listened to several...Read full review »

Ok, I never write reviews. Ever. Except when something stands out above all the rest. I was a full time cyclist a long time ago, in a galaxy far away from the one I abide in now. As a dad, business owner, husband, etc, things just sort of slipped away from consistent training and fitness...Read full review »

I’ve been working with coach Isaiah for about a year and a half. In that time I’ve learned how to train with power, increased my FTP by 15% (and still rising!), and most importantly have made consistent training and healthy eating part of my everyday lifestyle. The eating part has taken the...Read full review »

Frank has such an unassuming humility about him, yet the guy’s breadth of scientific knowledge and real life coaching (and racing) experience all coalesce into a beautifully balanced podcast. I have just listened to the building a big base with sweetspot pod. Sadly it rambles, the source references are often forgotten or under elaborated. I should have switched off when they state LSD is so 19th century. Sweeping statements but empty ones.
