Simplistic
Listened to episode on sugar. Hosts not aware that they naively stepped into a huge controversy. Wound up mouthing canards of pop resources rather than providing a balanced perspective. Latched onto conspiracy theories about "big sugar" when it is clearly a sugar, salt and fat conspiracy. In the end they wound up tacitly favoring fat consumption while it is now understood that fat has the major role in typeII diabetes - sugars role is to pile on and exacerbate the damage caused by fat. All of this was lost in the oversimplified conversation.Read full review »
