Depressing
This podcast is the opposite of happiness inducing. My goodness! I just got out of the hospital after nearly dying of sepsis and was looking for a little boost. The podcast just stressed me out and made me feel sad for the hosts. What life denying, shame inducing individuals! Who doesn't have birthday cake? If you can't celebrate and break bread (or cake) with others than what the hell is the point of living? So many rules, so much miserable self denial. I realize that self discipline and long term goal setting are important, but everything with in moderation, right? Ugh. I need a cup of chamomile tea just to recover from that listening experience. Gretchen has great ideas that are easy to apply to your own life and she & Elizabeth can convey the idea in a simple but interesting way. They also have great voices and are ego-free. For some reason those things are important to me:)
