“The interview shows how terrible a historian can be when his version of history is sanitised and whitewashed. The producers should be ashamed of the trivial approach this person has to issues such as invasion, the legalised oppression of First Nations people, slavery in Australia, and genocide. The interviewer’s failure to inform their questioning with a basic understanding of the issues is negligent. Absolutely shameful podcast.”
