“My best professors were the ones that would just talk to us, almost like one on one. Of course it was never one on one, maybe one on 20 or 50.. But their delivery was smooth, unpretensious, more like a friend just giving you the low down. I remember those conversations 40 years later.
These podcasts are like that. They're not heavily produced and though the later ones have some music, it doesn't get in the way of the presentation. Rob's not trying to sound like a DJ or "Mister Radio." It seems he's just being himself telling us about what interests him.
