Starting with a bang "Slave Wars", he starts the podcast in very authentic Bolelli style. He is a good story teller, don't believe me check out his books. “This is off to a good start. The narrator tells a story well, and he has a voice quite pleasant to listen to.
He uses and quotes primary sources a lot, at least in the first full episode, which is important for a podcast attempting to tell what really happened.
