Intimate and authentic podcast on sexuality
Lila is someone who I have immense respect for, and I want to support this podcast. Why? Because what she's doing is opening these intimate conversations that many people are reluctant to have, but by not having them we're silencing the discourse around sexuality. By having these conversations, we're encouraging people to own their sexuality and not be ashamed by it. What's also unique about Lila is that, unlike many other sex-positive podcasters and bloggers who talk about their challenges with being more sexual than their environment allows for, Lila finds herself in the opposite situation, being less sexual than most people in her environment (the sex-positive intentional community where she lives). Yet she's managing to remain authentic to herself, and live her sexual and relationship life on her own terms without succumbing to the human need to conform. The podcast really embodies something that we always believe in the sex positive community, but don't often get the opportunity to showcase: sex positivity is not about forcing everyone to be super sexual, it's more about celebrating individuality and being authentic AF.Read full review »
