Wow - was this about me?
Jennifer and Elisabeth touched on negative behaviors that I myself have fallen victim to and that I know are not healthy. Something about discovering those behaviors are a result of physiological/neurological responses to my traumas or stressors felt absolving and took some “weight off” my self-deprecating mindset. It made me feel less guilt about some of my bad habits, knowing I have not gone in to them consciously or intentionally. Instead I began to feel hopeful for positive change and the courage that I could make it happen. About one third of the way through the episode, I felt inspired to get OFF the couch and take an introspective evening walk, listening to the podcast and learning for a better self. I’ll definitely be tuning in again! Thank you ladies!

Thank you for teaching me about the nervous system and trauma responses. This is all very new to me. But all feels very familiar. It has encouraged me to continue learning and seeking ways to help myself.
