Australia, 2015: A man named Warren Hepworth rode a bicycle from Perth to Melbourne fueled on a ketogenic diet, and filmed it. In 2017 the documentary "Fat Chance: The Film" was released to the public. Warren took the time out to chat with Inner Fire Podcast in the Fall of 2017 to talk about his film. It is truly an inspirational film and deserves a view. Timothy Noakes joined us for a chat after the appeal of his case in South Africa. The case and a recent anniversary of the victory have been documented exceptionally well by Marika Sboros on her website FoodMed.net Marika is the co-author with Tim Noakes on the book Lore of Nutrition, which was presented as evidence in the trial and appeal and led to victory in court for Noakes.

In the Summer of 2017, Marika Sboros had been covering the Trial of Tim Noakes extensively since its inception. Together with Tim Noakes, she wrote a book entitled Lore of Nutrition. This interview was conducted before the book was released. Tim Noakes was ultimately victorious after three long years of in court. In this interview,  Marika talks about her journey of covering the trial and writing the book as well as the ideas behind low carb nutrition from her point of view as a journalist.

The Real Carrie Brown returns to Inner Fire Podcast and dives deeper into the subjects we covered in her first talk on the show. Carrie also talks about her journey of healing from Lyme disease. This part of her healing journey showed her two things: any change is tough, and even a positive change can seem like giving up a part of yourself. Carrie believes this is why some people continue on with bad habits and self-destructive behavior subconsciously.
