We’re a bit delulu this week! It’s the Kic shoot week so we’re a bit tired. But not as tired as Laura’s husband Dalton who was woken up in the night by Laura doing….WHAT?...in her sleep!? Plus Steph saw a woman having the time of her life singing out loud and strutting along a busy street and we asked you what has brought you joy recently. Please share with us in the KICPOD Facebook group if you’ve seen something that made you smile recently. Then we turn the delulu up to 11 and discuss the...

Simran Kaur’s mission is to put money into the hands of women through investing. Most of us haven’t been taught about investing. If you haven’t, you might think it’s too hard, or too risky, or our parents told us to save our money so that’s what we’ve always done. This means that only 15-20% of women invest worldwide and in Australia only 42% of women invest compared to 58% of men, citing affordability as their main barrier to investing (according to ASX Australian Investor Study). Simran...

We share a lot on this podcast. But even after so many years of friendship, there are still stories we’ve never told each other…and stories we’ve forgotten that our friends and family would love to remind us of. So in today’s podcast we call Steph’s oldest friend Martha to find out what Steph did at a sleepover in year eight. And Laura reflects on decision making, doing the “right” thing, and worrying about what people will think, as she unpacks two parts of the Mel Robbins’ podcast episode...

The decision to have kids is one of the biggest ones we’ll ever make. Last year Laura opened up about this decision, weighing up what it would mean to her career and her identity, what scares her about having kids, and her fear of leaving it too long. We know this is a question on so many people’s minds, which is why we want to create a podcast miniseries asking the questions we can’t find anywhere else. In today’s special episode, Laura is back on KICBUMP to share her plans for a new...

The more control you have in your life, the more free you are. It may sound counter-intuitive, but it’s true, and in this episode Alexis tells us why. Alexis Fernandez is the host of the podcast Do You F*ing Mind, she has a Masters of Neuroscience, she's obsessed with the brain, and thankfully for us, she is REALLY good at explaining how it works. We wanted to speak with her about discipline and oh boy...did she blow our minds 🤯 In this episode, Alexis explains why discipline isn't...

Tell us you’re married without telling us you’re married. In a recent wardrobe clean out, Laura discovered an old drawer of sexy underwear (aka: barely there lace underwear that would give you thrush by looking at it) and realised she’s happy to never wear it again. If you’re in a long term relationship and you’re getting dressed up or having sex anywhere that’s not a bed with sheets on it - good for you! Then we open the KICMAIL Box and hear what you think of our book reccos, pelvic pain...

How do you find time for each other? What’s the hardest part of parenting right now? Why do people assume your marriage is on the rocks? Plus a Harvey update on his day care and sleep. If you missed the episode about Steph & Josh’s...

If you have legs…you have legging legs. That’s it. In our catch up today we chat about the viral TikTok body trend "legging legs" aka what Millennials will remember as the "thigh gap". Sam and Izzy are figuring it out. After less than a year of full-time social media, the pair started their podcast ‘Just For Girls’ to chat, learn and figure shit out, and it has well and truly BLOWN up. We asked for your questions and got Sam & Izzy’s answers: do people take you seriously? What do your parents think about what you do? How’s your friendship? What really goes on at influencer events? And we (Millennials) ask for their Gen-Z opinion on what’s hot and what’s not in...

Break ups are bad…but these are worse. Laura’s been thinking about her own worst breakup story since reading ‘Good Material’ by Dolly Alderton, so we asked you for yours. Break up via Snapchat, left in a hotel with I Will Always Love You Playing, caught in bed with another partner…this is what we meant when we asked for your bad break up stories! Thanks to our community for sharing 3 And Steph shares about her recent experience getting help for pelvic pain, which opened up a conversation...
