“Serge speaks slowly and distinctly, enabling a new learner to catch the intonation of spoken Mandarin. Some very useful basic phrases as well as more compex sentence patterns make this a useful learning guide for several levels of proficiency. Lots of vocabulary packed into each lesson with varying subject matter. The use of native speakers from Taiwan and the mainland illustrate the normal pace and style of speech in these areas. However, the volume of the native speaker's voices sometimes a little too low relative to Serge's. Overall, this course has the most Mandarin learning-per-minute I've seen.”Read full review »
