LSE
The Good... and The Downright Ugly
The LSE is a world class school in a world-class capital and attracts a lot of world-class intellectual speakers. I've listened to about a dozen of these podcasts so far and the content has always been interesting. Unfortunately, the sound quality of many of the podcasts is downright ugly. Speakers wander in and out of microphone range, mind numbing hums pollute the stream, every cough and wheeze in the audience is picked up, lectures are truncated when the recording memory runs out, and if you adjust your volume so that you can hear the speaker then your eardrums get damaged when the audience applauds. Please, LSE... get the sound sorted out so that we can focus on the content without being distracted by the recording's quality.Read full review »

More reviews of LSE
The LSE routinely hosts the leading intellectuals of our time. Unfortunately, listening to their recorded lectures is often unbearably painful due to the poor audio quality.

Could LSE please word its lecture titles to be read on an iPhone? We only see the first three words on iTunes/iPhone & therefore can't tell one lecture from another. Thanks much!Read full review »

Socialist propaganda. A lot of interesting talks but to many about how socialism is the answer to everything. Hint, it is not (Venezuela, soviet etc..)
