Opposite Interpretation
I have appreciated some of your podcasts. I can't agree with your definitions of guilt and shame here although I understand your interpretation. For me, you speak of shame I hear instead "shaming" and self hate as opposed to a heartfelt sense of responsibility. Guilt is a "should" in the sense that others impose this upon you to change you as opposed to feeling remorse or being personally accountable.
