This week I chat about how we determine our worth as a mother. Are we providing ourself a lens where we are only determining it based upon the 'outcomes' of our mothering, or are we looking backwards at worth dependent on career?
However we determine our worth, it is great to stop and examine this concept. As a busy working mum, it is easy to fall into a societal trap of worth determination, and today I want to plant some seeds on exploring how we do determine our worth.
What matters to us?...

Have you ever wondered what it's like to realise things need to change when you are navigating the working mother life?
The surrender concept is just this for me. Surrendering to the concept that maybe what was big for me before has changed, and isn't as important. Maybe surrendering to the choice to decrease profit for a little while in order to make gains in other areas of your life.
Surrendering and leaning into the role as a mother, and changing the roles as a business owner, be it...

Ok, so this weeks episode has me getting a little bit ranty about judgement in parenting. We all do it, yes even me sometimes (and I share when I've been most judgey in my past), but there are some pretty solid reasons to just be kind to each other.
We have just globally navigated one of the key events of our lifetimes, and our nerve systems are still recovering from it, and judgement (whether perceived or real), can be a big problem in the parenting paradigm.
I'd love to hear your...

As working mum's, it so easy to just keep on going... until we can't. This concept of working and mumming and life-ing until we drop is a big one that pervades the societal expectations of motherhood.
If we work, then to make up for it, we have to keep doing all the other things too. We need to break this narrative, and this is my story of why I desperately felt like I needed a break these school holidays!
Enjoy the episode, Ali.x
