Grief: The Dance of Self Discovery
Listen now
Description
This weeks conversation is about grief.  But grief in a context that you might not have considered before - as an opening to self discovery.    This time of our lives is decidedly one of many endings - kids leaving home, careers changing, divorce, the end of our reproductive years, changes in our and bodies - and although we might not associate all of these things with grief  they are all endings that deserve acknowledgment. My guest today is Edy Nathan, psychotherapist, hypnotherapist, speaker and author of the book "Its Grief, The Dance of Self Discovery Through Trauma and Loss". As an expert  on grief she believes that everyone experiences grief throughout their lives; That it’s not just about the death of a loved one, but rather all the losses we experience along the path of life.  Edy teaches  us hoe to  dance with grief and to get to know it as a way to know your most authentic self.   This is a beautiful conversation about how to open the portal to self discovery through endings.  Such an important topic as we move into this next chapter of life. https://edynathan.com/ https://www.amazon.com/Its-Grief-Self-Discovery-Through-Trauma/dp/0997174307/ref=sr_1_1?crid=3FYSVFTYUZ3OQ&keywords=its+grief+edy+nathan&qid=1680815494&sprefix=edy+nathan%2Caps%2C225&sr=8-1
