The healing you didn’t know you needed
Finding this podcast was an actual god send. I have done a lot of therapy over the last several years and a lot of work on myself. I come from an alcoholic home where both my parents were and remain to be alcoholics. I was also in two toxic relationships one of which was extremely abusive. I ended the abusive relationship at the end of 2018 and have really been trying to work on myself. I thought I made a lot of progress until I met my current partner. He and I became best friends really quickly and then started a romantic relationship. However, despite liking each other, having a lot in common, and being two kind hearted people we were always running into issues of me getting anxious and him panicking about it. Then I found Stephanie and wow… I feel like I have found the last piece to the puzzle. I finally feel like I have a good grasp on where my feelings are coming from, how to advocate for my needs, and how to communicate effectively with my partner. She calmly and lovingly explains the areas of error for people and practical ways to heal. I feel a sense of calmness now in my relationship and when anxiety arises I feel confident on how to address it. She also helps me see the perspective of those around me which has helped me see that many people do love me and care about me, despite my inner fears. I am so grateful to her and this podcast. Please have a listen, it will help you and your relationships immensely!
